Commission Walkthrough

Here is a step-by-step list explaining commission process!
Keep in mind this is NOT my TOS!
Please read my TOS on this page before commissioning me!

  1. Before my commissions open, I will open for quotes. A “quote” is an estimate on how much your suit will cost and is meant to be as accurate as possible. Quotes are required to apply for a commission, and are free of charge! To get a quote, you will fill out a google form (please read though these forms properly and be as specific as possible!) I will not calculate quotes for submissions that are not filled out properly, or have invalid reference sheets! Please note a valid quote does not guarantee a commission slot! Quotes will be valid for 6 months!

  2. When my commissions are open, you will fill out my commission form with all requirements met to apply for a slot (this form will be different from the quote form). I will then contact the chosen client through communication preference to begin the commissioning process. I will not respond to forms that have not been filled out properly!

  3. If you agree to pay your quote, you will pay the minimum 30% deposit and you will claim a slot. I will officially begin working on your commission. If not, we can negotiate/compromise your request until we are satisfied.

  4. I will then find materials (fur and fabric colors, foam, etc), and approve them with you. Once you approve said materials, I will order them and begin working on your suit. I will not order said materials until I have received your down payment.

  5. You will also send me a series of measurements so your suit will custom fit on your body (the series of which depends on what type of suit you are commissioning).

  6. When working on your suit, I will send many work in progress photos and updates. Many of these WIPs will need explicit approval from you. I will not continue the project until I have your approval, therefore the faster you check and approve my updates, the faster your suit will be created.
*If you do not wish to receive WIPs, again, please notify me, and I will not send you any WIPs. In doing so, you acknowledge you have read and agree to clause 8 in my TOS.

  7. Upon finishing your suit, I will ship it to you. Shipping will be calculated and you will pay the shipping fee (the shipping fee may fluctuate on many factors). The package will be insured, but I am not responsible for the damage/loss of package once it leaves my hands.

  8. If you need any fixes to your suit feel free to send it back! All fixes are covered within 60 days of you receiving your suit (see clause 9 in my TOS covering warranty). Any fixes beyond the 60 day warranty period will be charged.

Frequently Asked Questions!

Q: I don’t have eligible reference, but I have a lot of art pieces of my character, could you use those instead?

A: No. You MUST have a reference that has the requirements stated in my TOS, minimum. If you would like to send me those pieces in addition to an eligible ref sheet, feel free to send them!

Q: I’m not sure if my reference meets the requirements, can I send it to you before applying for a slot to see if it is eligible?
A: Yes! Please note that an “approved” ref sheet does not mean you have claimed a slot.

Q: I want a fursuit part/prop that isn’t listed. Can I ask if you can make it?
A: Yes! Depending on my skill/comfort level, I may be able to make it! I do not guarantee the answer will be “yes”, but it won’t hurt to ask! Please note any experimental features will VOID the 60 day warranty as stated in my TOS.

Q. I can’t pay with money, can I offer art/other works instead?

A. No. I am not accepting trades and will not negotiate prices unless I state otherwise.

Q: Can I send you furs/materials directly for you to purchase and/or take inspiration from?

A: Sure! However, I cannot guarantee I will purchase them due to varying factors!

Q: I know we’re expected to have full ownership of the character we request, but I have a fan character from an existing IP, is that ok for you to make?
A: Depends! Please ask me and these will be allowed on a case by case basis! I will not, however, make cosplays (create a costume that is solely a 1 to 1 representation of a copyrighted character) atm.

Q: Can you make x species?
A: I can make any species as long as it does not have electronics! (e.g. no protogens/primagens)

Q: I’m not sure if my character is SFW enough for you to work on, can I ask you before applying if it’s appropriate to commission you with?
A: Yes! Please do! I appreciate your honesty! I cannot guarantee you’ll get the answer you want, but please ask me!

Q: Hey, I don’t agree with clause X! It doesn’t seem fair! It makes more sense to me if you did x instead! I know this artist that doesn't have that rule! You should do it like them instead!

A: I will make no exceptions to my TOS as it is specifically designed to protect myself. If you cannot respect my decisions or abide by my TOS, do not commission me.
